While the customer service from Mammoth was outstanding, the product quality of the V-line closet vault was appauling at the pricepoint. Incomplete powder-coat finish, damaged perimeter not associated with packaging....(which means it was packaged with the damage), absence of packaging protection for the door, and the lock mechanism interior cover was held with cheap velcro. From a security perspective, the locking points on the top/bottom have adequate length to prevent prying..........except........there is no feature to prevent counter-rotating the locking knob, which reduces the penetration length by 50% ! A terrible oversight that I was able to fix...but I should not have had to modify anything.
Really poor quality control, and no pride in workmanship. This is a unique product, and only needs the right product team to make it worthy of the pricetag.
High quality wall safe, doesn't stick out too far so I'm planning on putting a painting right infront for hidden protection. Thank you so much!
Big fan of the size of this thing and the security, fits under my bed, in the back of my truck.
Was super easy to install and attach to my wall studs. Safe came undamaged and in perfect condition.
